NEW – Behavioral Health Administrative Assistant

CHC of Cape Cod is seeking a Behavioral Health Administrative Assistant whose primary focus is on processing Behavioral Health (BH) insurance needs, managing BH staff schedules and BH panel management. The Administrator will also:

  • Manage Prior Authorization ( PA) process: review all BH scheduled patients for current PA two days before appointment and day of appointment. Request any needed PA (initials and/or renewals), request PA renewals from clinical staff, fax/call in any PA initials and/or renewals.
  • Manage Schedules: open, complete and update BH schedules for Bourne and Mashpee BH staff.
  • Work with BH Director to manage and coordinate patient requests and referrals.
  • Support BH team clinicians with processing BH referrals and other administrative tasks as needed.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Professional, patient-focused individual, with 2 years + working in a medical office setting, ideally managing the insurance referral process.  Behavioral Health Clinician scheduling experience a plus!

NEW – Patient Access/Scheduler

CHC of Cape Cod is seeking a Patient Access Scheduler who is responsible for scheduling patient appointments in appropriate primary care and specialty departments, according to each department’s scheduling protocols. The patient access scheduler will also:

  • Ensure that thorough and complete patient information is obtained to facilitate the registration process.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, their families, registration staff, care teams, and insurance enrollment staff.
  • Field patient calls and portal messages regarding appointment scheduling.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and supports CHC goal to ensure access to quality care.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Highly organized individual with demonstrated ability to prioritize and communicate effectively. Strong customer service skills, with 1 year + in a medical office setting.

Certified Pharmacy Technician

Join our growing Pharmacy Team! The Certified Pharmacy Technician’s duties will include: filling new medications orders, refills and renewals for Community Health Center of Cape Cod Pharmacy clients; restocking pharmacy shelves when medications are received from the wholesaler; crediting client medications that are not picked up within 2 weeks; and promoting and maintaining good interpersonal and interdepartmental relationships.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Licensed by passing the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam. High School diploma or equivalent. Must be flexible and be able to work different schedules to meet client and pharmacy needs in our Mashpee, Bourne, and Falmouth clinic sites. Must possess detailed knowledge of OTC drugs and laws governing OTC drugs. Demonstrate competent working knowledge of participating third party insurance plans. Possess thorough knowledge of the Pharmacy Technician Procedures. Be able to work in fast-paced environment. Possess ability to troubleshoot and solve problems. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communications skills. Must be organized and be able to prioritize tasks.

NEW- Credentialing Specialist

Community Health Center of Cape Cod is seeking a credentialing specialist to be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the CHC credentialing and privileging activity for licensed and Allied health Providers. The person in this position will initiate applications for managed care plans and health center privileges and monitor processing from date of submission through approval. The Credentialing Specialist will also be responsible to ensure timeliness and compliance in accordance with CHC policies as well as CMS and HRSA regulations and all applicable state and federal laws. He or she will work to establish and maintain accurate data in Provider CAQH accounts.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Ideal candidate will have Associates Degree, with 2 years of Provider Enrollment and Credentialing experience. Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, Word and Excel. Strong communications skills and ability to contribute to departmental process and procedures in a collaborative approach.

Dental Director

Community Health Center of Cape Cod is seeking a Dental Leader to oversee our expanding oral health services program.

The Dental Director will play a critical role in the delivery and expansion of high quality, patient-centered, and community-based oral healthcare. The Director will provide general dental care for a patient panel as well as provide clinical and administrative leadership for dental providers and dental support staff. In addition, the Dental Director is responsible for the development and implementation of dental policies and procedures, oversight of student extern programs and assuring the quality of dental services provided by the Health Center.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Candidates are required to be fully licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. DMD or DDS and a graduate of an accredited dental school, with 2 years+ in a supervisory role, preferably in Community Health.   Demonstrated leadership abilities that support a culture of team work, mutual trust and respect.  Proven ability to improve business processes, methods, quality, and decision-making to achieve meaningful, measurable improvements.
