Ms. Nickerson is responsible for conducting psychological assessments of incoming behavioral health patients at Community Health Center of Cape Cod, and completing behavioral health visits with patients. She has worked as the Addictions Program Manager at the Health Center, overseeing programs that include Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) using Suboxone or Vivitrol, a Structured Outpatient Addictions Program (SOAP) and an Outpatient Treatment Group called Step Forward. Ms. Nickerson previously worked at Gosnold in Falmouth as a Treatment Coordinator. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and Care from University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Masters of Social Work from Boston University. Ms. Nickerson has extensive behavioral health experience working with people with comorbid disorders, mental illness and substance abuse issues. She joined Community Health Center of Cape Cod in 2014.
