Muna Iheonunekwu is an ANCC board certified professional and ethical psychiatric nurse practitioner proficient in treating adult and geriatric mental health patients with various psychiatric/behavioral disorders. Prior to Community Health Center, Muna worked at New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute as well as many other facilities as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. She has extensive experience with telepsychiatry and was independently contracted before joining CHC. She attended The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX where she received a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and Walden University in Minneapolis, MN where she received a Masters degree in nursing. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and holds numerous other licensures and certifications.
