Responsibilities include: Crisis evaluations and assessments, integrating and coordinating care with family services and primary care physicians and participation in patient teams. Woman’s Health Nurse Practitioner/PA
We offer an exciting opportunity for a women’s health nurse practitioner to join our team. The women’s health nurse practitioner is responsible for comprehensive women’s health services including health promotion, contraception, routine gynecologic health care, and preventive health services screening. The women’s health nurse practitioner will work in an integrated team that includes behavioral health, nutrition, primary care and more. The position affords the right candidate the opportunity to truly build a healthier community. Qualifications: One year of experience as a physician’s assistant/nurse practitioner in a woman’s health program; completion of a course of training in residence as a physician’s assistant/nurse practitioner approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and accreditation, affiliated with the American Medical Association. Certification by the National Commission on Certification.
Medical Biller (Mashpee MA)
The medical biller position will perform accounts receivable functions. Candidates must be comfortable with all steps of the collection process; medical billing (paper and electronic), identifying the responsible party for payment, collecting and recording required insurance information, processing EOBs and denials, communicating with the patient/guarantor on payment status, pursuing third-party payers for complete payment, etc. Qualifications: Excellent communication, organizational skills with a customer service focus! Candidates will possess excellent computer skills, be a team player, and display a positive attitude. High school diploma required. Degree or certificate from an institute of higher education preferred. Minimum three years of third party billing experience in a healthcare setting required. Experience billing for a FQHC multi-specialty medical office preferred.
Patient registration (per diem)
Responsible for verifying insurance eligibility, collecting co- pays and maintaining patient demographics database. Professional demeanor with 1- 3 years’ experience in a medical office or billing setting. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize work.
Will accomplish minor building improvement projects as well as light housekeeping duties. Assists in snow removal and grounds keeping as needed. Will also provide courier services to our satellite locations. Valid MA driver’s license with excellent driving record. Work history to include 1- 3 years housekeeping and/or maintenance experience .
Will coordinate and organize patient flow through the health center, working with team nurses and patient registration staff. Requirements: Strong communication and computer skills necessary. Graduate of an accredited school of medical assisting and experience in a busy medical office environment. Per diem or part-time hours available. Bi-lingual skills a plus!
Per diem openings for a pharmacist in our new Health Center Pharmacy. Individual must have 1-3 years pharmacy or related experience and be licensed in Massachusetts. Must be detailed oriented and possess good people skills. Bi-Lingual Skills preferred.
